About me
I’m Ray Haikal (He/Him), a Lebanese-Australian, queer artist based in Meanjin (Brisbane). My work moves with emotion, rhythm, and memory, never trying to hold things still.
Through abstraction, I embrace painting as a process of change — layers shift, dissolve, and return in new forms. Each gesture reflects the sense that nothing stays fixed; everything is always becoming otherwise.
I create original paintings, prints, and art-inspired pieces that invite viewers to experience movement, feeling, and transformation.
